Our Services
"End to end" means you don't carry these alone
Problems in Australia rarely arrive on their own — a visa issue usually drags in your provider, and a provider issue drags the visa back in. We keep them in one team.
Student visas
Subclass 500 from start to finish — the Genuine Student statement, evidence of funds, health checks and insurance, plus the two stages where things most often go wrong: renewals and refusals.
First applications, renewals, onshore vs offshore strategy
Genuine Student statements built around your actual history
ART review after refusal, responding to cancellation notices
Not just typing your grades into a form. First we work out where your marks actually sit, then decide what belongs in the reach, target and safety tiers.
Schools, undergraduate, postgraduate, TAFE, English
Course and institution positioning with a tiered shortlist
From HSC and VCE through to university units. We teach the content and the method. We show you how to write — we do not write it for you. That line does not move.
HSC / VCE / QCE and ATAR preparation
University units, essay structure, research method
Want to change provider inside the first six months of your principal course? You cannot get around the release letter. We know what gets approved, how to write it, and what to do when it is refused.
Release letter requests and appeals against refusal
Course changes, stepping down a level, credit (RPL)
Failed subjects, attendance below threshold, an intention to report, an academic misconduct hearing, an expired visa — these all run on hard deadlines. A day late is a different situation entirely.
The trouble often starts after you land. Airport pickup, housing, bank accounts, tax file numbers, health cover, phone plans — we put them in a sensible order.
Airport pickup, accommodation and homestay matching
At every step you know where you are, what is being waited on, and roughly how long. No sitting in silence wondering.
Assessment first, fees after
The first conversation costs nothing, and we will not oversell your chances to win the engagement. If we cannot help with your situation, we will say so and tell you what kind of organisation can.
Transcripts, English results, budget, target cities and career direction on the table together, then a tiered shortlist and a timeline.
1–6 weeks
Documents and lodgement
Certified transcripts, statements, references. Applications go to several institutions in parallel so your hopes do not rest on one offer.
4–12 weeks
Offers, comparison, acceptance
Once offers arrive we total everything up: tuition, living costs, commute, graduate outcomes and any migration relevance — then choose.
1–3 weeks
Pay the deposit, get the CoE
Initial tuition and health cover are paid and the provider issues your Confirmation of Enrolment. Nothing can be lodged without it.
4–12 weeks
Lodge the student visa
A registered migration agent prepares the Genuine Student statement and financial evidence, lodges online and answers any requests for more information.
Pre-departure & arrival
Departure briefing and landing
Pickup, housing, bank account, enrolment. We also check in on your results before the end of your first semester — most agencies stop well before this.
Licensed advisers, not salespeople
Visa matters sit with a registered migration agent whose registration number is publicly verifiable.
One consultant throughout
No handover from the person who signed you up to someone you have never met.
Fees written into the agreement
Our fees and third-party costs are listed separately, with nothing added mid-process.
Why AU Educate
Choosing an agent is really choosing who stays when it goes wrong
When everything runs smoothly, any agency looks the same. The difference shows up when you fail a subject, get refused, or get reported — whether anyone picks it up, and whether they know what to do.
Compliance first — never falsified documents
Fabricated evidence, once established, engages PIC 4020 and can affect Australian visa applications for the next three years. We will not put a student in that position.
Urgent matters answered within 72 hours
Appeals run on fixed limits — internal appeals are usually lodged within 20 working days, visa review generally within 21 days. We work backwards from the deadline.
Local team, local relationships
Our consultants are based in Sydney and Melbourne and deal with international offices directly. Many questions take one email rather than a long detour.
Information kept current
Every charge, funds figure, English requirement and work limit on this site carries the date it applies from. When policy shifts we update it and tell students already in progress.

What happened next
Feedback from current and former students, shown by surname and initial at their request.
My first application was refused because the explanation of my funds was unclear, and I had no idea what to do. AU Educate rebuilt the timeline of where the money came from, added evidence of my parents' income, and lodged a second application before going to review. It was granted. The useful part was not a template — it was being told what the case officer was actually worried about.

One semester into engineering I knew it was wrong for me, but I was inside the first six months and the university would not release me. My consultant helped me put the reasons together, and when it was refused we went to internal appeal. The release letter came through, I transferred the next semester, and my visa was not affected.

My child moved here in Year 11 and could not keep up with HSC English or Maths. The agency that placed him had no interest in what happened afterwards. We started tutoring here, twice a week, with the tutor working to his school's assessment schedule. His final ATAR came in almost 9 points above the estimate and he got his first preference.

FAQ
The questions we get most
More detailed answers sit on each service page.
Roughly three parts, at July 2026 settings:
Visa application charge: AUD $2,500 (from 1 July 2026. Some applicants from ASEAN and Pacific nations and Timor-Leste, and those taking standalone ELICOS or non-award courses, remain on the earlier charge).
Evidence of funds: enough to cover 12 months of living costs at AUD $29,710 (the figure set in May 2024), plus about $10,394 for a partner and $4,449 per child, plus your first year of tuition and return airfares.
Tuition and insurance: varies by course — commonly $33,000–$55,000 a year for a bachelor degree; overseas student health cover runs about $600–$1,200 a year.
Note that "evidence of funds" means demonstrating you can pay. It does not require the whole amount to sit frozen in an account, but the source and availability of the money must be clear.
While your course is in session, up to 48 hours per fortnight. During scheduled course breaks there is no limit. This is visa condition 8105.
Two traps: the 48 hours is measured across a rolling period of 14 days, not 24 hours a week that you can shuffle around; and the cap covers all your jobs added together. Exceeding it breaches your visa conditions and, at worst, can lead to cancellation.
Failing one or two subjects usually has no immediate visa effect. The real risk is your provider reporting you for unsatisfactory course progress. Providers must monitor progress; where it falls short they start an intervention strategy first, and only issue an intention to report if things do not improve.
Once you receive an intention to report you generally have 20 working days to lodge an internal appeal. As long as you start the appeal within that window, providers usually hold off reporting to PRISMS until it concludes. The critical thing is not to wait — once the window closes your options narrow sharply. See course progress.
Yes, but timing decides how. Under Standard 7 of the National Code 2018, transferring within the first six months of your principal course requires a release letter from your current provider. After six months you generally do not need one, but you still need a CoE from the new provider and must notify as required.
If a release is refused you can use the provider's internal appeal process, and beyond that the Overseas Students Ombudsman (for private providers). See transfers.
For admissions, most partner institutions pay commission, so there is generally no separate application fee for students. Visa representation, appeals and tutoring are quoted per matter, confirmed in writing before you engage us, with inclusions and exclusions spelled out.
Third-party costs — visa charges, medicals, certification, courier — are paid by you directly to the relevant body. We do not collect them or add a margin.
All of it: assessment, course selection, applications, offers, paying the deposit for a CoE and lodging the visa. None of it requires you to be in Australia. We have a team on the ground in China as well, so time zones are not an issue. Start 6–12 months ahead — places in the February and July intakes typically tighten about six months out.
